Overview

Science Reality specialises in the delivery of information and communications technology solutions for scientific and engineering applications. Since it was first established in late 2004, Science Reality has established a significant customer base throughout Australia, primarily in the environmental and natural resources monitoring sector.

Science Reality combines experience and know-how from the scientific and engineering world with high quality Information & Communications Technologies.  We thrive on the challenge of delivering cost-effective solutions that are intuitive and easy to use based on the best technologies available.

Principal

Science Reality principal, Chris Misson, has a strong background in commercial-grade software development, including:

• Batchelor of Science Degree, University of Tasmania (Computer Science & Mathematics)

• Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Statistics, University of New England

• 20 years as an ICT specialist with Hydro Tasmania working closely with the Resource Monitoring & Hydrology groups

• Principal architect of the TimeStudio product suite

• Former Product Development Manager for Hydstra Pty Ltd

Chris has considerable experience in environmental and water resource monitoring practice and has managed many major software implementations in a number of countries including Australia, Canada, Indonesia, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom & USA.
